There was a fantastic atmosphere on the farm when the students from Ballymaloe Cookery School paid us a visit.
Our Derg Cheddar and other cheese was served with a selection of peppermill chutneys and kits homemade brown bread.
The Irish Cheese Awards 2015 were held in the Ballymaloe Grainstore and were organised by CAIS.
Paddy & Kay from Derg Farmhouse Cheese were delighted to attend the event and were delighted to pick up a bronze medal for their Derg Cheddar.
